To provide the Service (transcribe your files, manage your account and subscription), give you support, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Service. We do not sell your data.
Your files are processed for the sole purpose of generating the transcription and are automatically deleted from our servers within a maximum of 36 hours of upload (sooner, once the full transcription has been generated). The text of your transcriptions remains in your account for as long as it exists. We do not use your files to train models or for advertising purposes.
We rely on providers that act on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations: a payment provider (Stripe), a hosting provider, a transactional email provider, and measurement providers: Google (conversion measurement and analytics for our campaigns) and Microsoft Clarity (site usage analysis, which may include recordings of the browsing session — never your files or transcripts). They only access the data necessary for their function.
We use technical cookies necessary to log in and remember your language, plus measurement cookies from Google (Google Ads / Google Analytics) and Microsoft Clarity to measure our campaigns and improve the site. You can block measurement cookies in your browser settings and the Service will keep working.
We retain your account data for as long as it is active and for as long as required by legal obligations. Uploaded files are deleted after transcription.
You may access, rectify, erase, or port your data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to support@voicetotexts.net. If you reside in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, encrypted passwords, restricted access) to protect your data.
Our providers may process data outside your country. In such cases, we apply appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law.
The Service is not directed to persons under the legal age in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; we will publish the current version on this page with its date.
